  1. That was great. Certain people need to read that until they can recite it blindfolded.

  2. Funny cartoon. Unfortunately, the military draws from society at large. For the same reasons many recruits lack basic physical fitness, there’s a good chance they’ll also lack common sense and morality. Given how the upper level brass has fallen victim to political correctness, is it a surprise that there would be a need to teach soldiers how to behave? I see this as a symptom of the moral decline in America as much as an over reliance on PowerPoint to accomplish what a lack of home discipline failed to achieve.

  3. Smartest dog I ever heard.

    “A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.”

    The Boy Scout Oath, pretty much unchanged for over a hundred years;
    “On my honor, I will do my best
    To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
    To help other people at all times;
    To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.”
