That 1 to 1000 ratio is what the number of colonels should be, not generals. Heck, maybe Lieutenant Colonels.

What effect will the GOP landslide in the mid-terms have on the defense budget?
I can think of a lot of programs to cut, but I’d turn the savings over to other programs.
