What makes a beautiful woman beautiful? Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t tips and tricks that women can use to enhance their appeal. Take this week’s entry, Dita Von Teese. Her retro glam fashion has made her an icon. I find it interesting. She’s an attractive woman, make no mistake, but it is her presentation that has brought her fame and fortune.

Ladies, you won’t go too far wrong having a set of garters and stockings for special occasions.

And if they hop over the dresser drawer, it gives the CAT something to play with……

  2. Dear heavens I love her so much. And, yes, presentation is really her thing. There’s something very powerful about how she flaunts her femininity.

    Plus, you know, hotass.

  3. She’s a Hollywood phony. She only took off after her romance with Marylin Manson.

Their are more real goths out there.

  4. Chock, my point wasn’t that she’s a real goth. She’s not. She’s someone who isn’t all THAT attractive, but by emphasizing her femininity has greatly expanded her appeal to men.

I’m not particularly enamored of the goth scene, but I am enamored of women who look and dress like women.

  5. Stockings and garters over pantyhose, every time. Pantyhose don’t ever fit, stockings always do. And it’s a great secret, knowing that’s what’s on under the dress.

And I know yours is not a fashion blog, but you absolutely cannot beat ’40’s fashion for flattering sytle.

  6. April, did I mention that in order to comment here, you have to email me a picture? Preferably in garters and stockings? I know it’s a bit much, but heh, all the other commenters did it.

  7. Point taken Brad, but Dita’s major lcim to fame was her romance with that over-hyped sound engineer.

You may not like Goth, but what about steampunk?

  8. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t dislike goth. I really don’t have a particular favorite. My tastes are many and varied.

I may have a weakness for redheads, but other than that, I don’t have a type. Petite, voluptuous, fair, dark, you name it, we like it.
