Obviously, Europe needs to import more refugees from the Middle East and North Africa.
Other sources are reporting 18+ fatalities, and rumors of hostages.
Is it any wonder…one of the more accomodating nations. Immediate removal, logistically and socially difficult but this is the only way to drastically reduce these attacks. The second wave just rolled in from the Middle East as well. Oh, but they’re refugees…

Instead of Rainbow Six Vegas in which Vegas is besieged by an army of tangos… Rainbow Six Paris.
And now in the early evening hour (west coast), 161 KIA.
Very tragic. God rest souls.
However, I see good coming of this. Walls going up, countries sealing their borders, Merkel facing a coup, arms sales soaring.
Then there is the blankety blank usurper in the White House who says ISIS is “contained”. And still our borders are like sieves.
Sacrebleu.
The French have now turned off the lights to the Eiffel Tower.
This is so sad. Preventable, foreseeable — coming here.
Apparently they turn them off every night at 1am.
Call me pessimistic, but I can’t help but remember –
“The lamps are going out all over Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our life-time”
“Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose”
timactual Well said. As you know, the quote is by British Foreign Secretary Sir Edward Grey at the start of WWI. WWI was the most consequential war of the last 200 years. .
I’m feeling better about the French response, esp. closing mosques at the center of the terrorists cells. The bombing is a good start.
Last night would have been a good time to leave them on…
Can’t wait for German society to catch up to the French. At the rate the Germans are going, it shouldn’t take too long.
From what I read many Germans were not in favor of opening the gates to such huge amounts of “Syrian refugees” from th beginning. The former East Germans have a better grip on reality than Merkel seems to have I believe.
