Yankee Clipper & Seattle Sea Scouts at Opening Day

While my old Sea Scout Ship is gone, it’s good to see the Seattle Area Council still doing well. And look closely to spot the T-Boat.

I have fond memories of a really cute girl from the SSS Propeller when we were rafted together off Stuart Island.

  1. “I have fond memories of a really cute girl from the SSS Propeller when we were rafted together off Stuart Island.” Heh. Me too.

xbradtc, after reviewing some of the old posts, I am convinced you and I competed against each other in at least one Sea Scout Regatta at a minimum, and may very well have actually steamed together. I was an ARGONAUT from ’85 to about ’90-’91. I did long cruises with PROPELLER and shorter cruises with YC in those years.

Glad to see the Sea Scouts still going strong up there. I never was stationed anywhere I could get my boys involved.

    1. Probably. I’m a little fuzzy on some of the other boats in the Seattle and Baker councils, because I’m old. I’m pretty sure I went to the Keyport Regatta in ’85 and I can’t remember where our other big regatta was.
