Blacks Must Confront Reality – Walter E. Williams – Page 2

To put this violence in perspective, black fatalities during the Korean War (3,075), Vietnam War (7,243) and all wars since 1980 (about 8,200) come to about 18,500, a number that pales in comparison with black loss of life at home. Young black males had a greater chance of reaching maturity on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan than on the streets of Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Oakland, Newark and other cities.

Even back in the 90s, before the Iraq and Afghan wars, I used to point this out to parents when I was recruiting in Gary, IN.

I’m tired of being told to check my privilege, and embrace and respect other cultures.

No, other cultures suck. They’re terrible. They cause nothing but misery, poverty, and early death.

I don’t want you to respect my culture. I want you to JOIN my culture.

  1. Oh boy, are you going to get a rocket for being politically incorrect.
    I love it.

  2. Didn’t read the link before my first comment. Still, I’ll wager that you’ll get some flak for the link.

  3. X-ring. However, there are myriad people and entities, including Obama, Holder, Sharpton, Jesse, and any number of “celebrities” and other race-baiting charlatans who try at all costs to keep blacks from confronting reality. Drug use? Gang violence? Children out of wedlock? Next to no education? Destructive lifestyles? All Whitey’s fault.

And anyone who raises a voice to the contrary, especially if they are black (Ben Carson, Bill Cosby, Condi Rice, etc.) are positively villified by the “black community”, whatever that is.

    1. Telling the Black populace would cost them votes. But if someone could get them to listen, and act, they would finally come into their own as Americans.

  4. Yeah, well, after Keyes carpetbagged the Illinois Senate race against Teh Won, I lost a lot of respect for him, especially after he flamed Hillary for the same stunt in New York.

    1. Thanks for that Casey….always want to know the complete truth about those I (did) support when they ran for office. Damn, is there absolutely no hope???

    2. While it’s fair to say he did carpet bag in IL 04, don’t forget that it was by invitation of the state GOP, AND that was because Obama had Jack Ryan’s divorce records unsealed.

There’s a reason Jeri Ryan has never been featured on Load HEAT.

  5. Black “Culture” as well as most of Latino “Culture” is a culture of defeat and death. It is so sad that Blacks have stayed on the leftist plantation after all that was done to set them free.
