Low Frequency anti-stealth radar.

Mind you, using lower frequency isn’t without its own issues. Otherwise, everyone would be doing it already.

  1. Ah yes, the Airborne Culture where more is expected of people that are really never proficient except in the most basic of ways and a School (QM School which owns the Parachute Rigger Course), that stresses veritably every possible point of the life each Rigger holds in their hands but when arriving at their first TOE assignment are informed how they need to do their “25 and go” and those that do really believe they are the Almighty’s gift to Parachute Rigging. Such BS. If the school knows what’s in store they need to teach that way at the school house and not do a cursory “…you’ll learn how to pack at your duty assignment”. The MC-6 is somewhat exotic to most anyone who A) isn’t in the SOF/JSOC community, or B) people that have only jumped static line jumps with Non-Maneuverable canopies and it is entirely possible that this fatality was an officer whose 65+ jumps comprised mostly of non-maneuverable canopies. Aside from the Refresher cycle terminating before a parachute jump was performed, missing/being late for Pre-Jump Sustained Airborne Training is such a NO-GO its unbelievable. Then there is the issue of the MC-6 itself…there are familiarization POI’s required before jumping one of any type. If one has a “D” or Expert License for more than (now), 500 jumps through USPA (United States Parachute Association), that would practically do in regards to jumping an MC-6 but NOT procedurally…the two don’t mix fortunately, or unfortunately. If one is a JM (Jumpmaster) you don’t have a hair on your A _ _ if you haven’t “bumped” a senior ranking individual off of the manifest (DA Form 1306 BTW) for not meeting standards, or not showing up on time for anything less than a bona fide reason. Damn this s _ _ _ gets me fired up because that Star and Wreath over your Jump Wings doesn’t mean your’re a no kidding Skygod…Sky WAD maybe but not Skygod. Currency is a parachute jump every fiscal quarter/90 days, ONE freaking jump…its like currency for Aviators having to fly 1 hour every three months and are considered proficient. Its an insane premise to operate under when it comes to jumping out of perfectly functioning aircraft (yes I said that), want to get better….jump more. They ought to call them Parachute PACKERS in the Army….Riggers intones skills in the many areas of Parachute Rigging. Again Gentlemen, your forbearance is very much appreciated. Wanna know my quals…..just ask me.
