Ever Wished That Calvin and Hobbes Creator Bill Watterson Would Return to the Comics Page? Well, He Just Did.

Maybe… just maybe, Bill will do some more work.

  1. That is so cool. Calvin and Hobbs was my favorite comics and are treasured today. The strip fits the childhood zeitseit so well.

Pearls Before Swine is for the cynical, jaded adult I’ve become (under my crust is more crust). It so crazy that Stephan Pastis pulled this off with a comic strip about lying to a woman (that he drew Calvin and Hobbs) to get her into bed.

  2. Thanks for the heads up. Most likely I would have missed this otherwise. As with so many others, Calvin and Hobbs and PBS are two of my favorite strips.
Has anyone else noticed the resemblance between Bill Watterson and Calvin’s father?

    Paul
