The Marine Corps Amtrack – Business Insider

  1. Comparing it to WWII in my head and I bet those Marines who stormed Iwo Jima would have killed to have one of those.

  2. The expressions on the newbies and visitors when they watch the one in front of you do the four second submersion is priceless…..

    1. I imagine there isn’t an awful lot of reserve buoyancy. I’ve been regaled with stories on first dives for Bubbleheads too. It can be quite disconcerting when the hull starts popping and groaning.

  3. Yes Sir what we got here is a one way ticket to Davey Jones locker.
My got skeered moment was when I discovered sea water pours into an AMTRAC that’s not sinking! And it was considered normal!
