How about infer/imply?
One of mine is when someone writes/says “winner” rather than “recipient” refering to an award of a military honor.

You don’t say! 🙂
“Irregardless”
“Disrespected”
“Acclimatize”
Lay/Lie
Infer/Imply
Uninterested/disinterested

“Than”
“Then”
Oh, and the difference between “less than” and “fewer than”.
My Mother was a grammar stickler, and I would torture her with “lay/lie”. I would be home on leave (yes, as a semi-grown-up) and say “I’m going to go LAY down”…. A couple seconds later she would yell from wherever she was “It’s LIE!!!!”
My Dad would just shake his head.
