Navy Jet Crashes In Virginia | Fox News

A Navy jet has crashed near a major road in Virginia Beach, an official with the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed to Fox News.

The two pilots are believed to have ejected safely from the jet, an FA-18 Superhornet, the official said. The plane crashed in a residential area near an apartment complex, according to local media reports. There is no word on injuries.

  1. Jet was a legacy Hornet (F/A-18D) from my daughter’s squadron VFA-106. Daughter was not flying today, lot’s of phone traffic in the family today. Even my son-in-law Big Time checked in from the Big “E”. Not good, not good. Prayers for all involved…
