The bird is in the oven, the stuffing is made, the sweet potato and apple casserole is ready. Green beans still need to be sautéed, biscuits to be baked, and cranberry sauce to be chilled. That’s about it for the work to be done. Next will come the eating- always my favorite part. And I’m very thankful that our forefathers had the good idea to have at least one holiday centered around food more than gifts.
I’m also very grateful to you, gentle reader. That you occasionally find one of my posts interesting or though provoking is humbling. I’m extremely thankful for all the input I receive from thoughtful commenters and occasional emails. I’m thankful that Roamy and Craig and Esli have been so generous with their time and talents to bring interesting content not just to you, but to me as well.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
