Bring the HEAT
XBradTC's thoughts… deep thoughts.
Wow. Just wow.
One of my new students is a -60 pilot. Might have to show this to him.
Forwarded this to my nephew who has been training and getting certification to fly fixed wing and copters. I thought it might be photosed at first.
Crap, I hate when my ad self corrects and I don’t notice… Photoshopped!
You’re just struggling a bit with that, huh?
Why don’t you just give it to Car in.
Hahahah! I just KNEW you’d enjoy my screwups!
It’s called a pinnacle landing, they do teach the technique at Rucker, they just don’t have the same terrain…obviously. 🙂
I don’t think there’s a single pinnacle in all of Alabama.
Also, I *knew* you’d pop in to comment! Good to see you.
No natural pinnacles anyway. The southern part of the Blue Ridge does live in Alabama. Birmingham is in the Blue Ridge province which stretches into NE MS as well. Rucker is on the coastal plain where even the mole hills look like real hills.
It may not be apt, but I think that’s just beautiful 🙂
Aggie, it’s hard to concentrate with your new avatar.
If you shoot an approach to the top of a building it is basically the same technique, it’s all the other factors like wind and pressure altitude that are different…the way you go about it is exactly the same.
