US Army Europe Limits Uniform Wear

HEIDELBERG, Germany — The recent shooting of two American airmen at Frankfurt International Airport has underscored the fact that members of the U.S. forces community in Europe are at risk of possible attack by terrorists and extremists. The attack has also prompted U.S. Army Europe operations and antiterrorism officials to set new policy for uniform wear when off U.S. installations in Europe.

It’s like a flashback to the bad old days of the 80s.

  1. Hubby never, ever wears his uniform if travelling off base. If he had to be somewhere after work, he would change into civvies before leaving.

Hell, to this day, he refuses to pick up a gallon of milk on his way home from work if he’s in uniform. Personally, I think he abuses the whole “be aware of your surroundings” thing 😉
