  2. In Germany, the BN CDR used “Everybody Trains, Everybody Fights!” as his variant. All newly arrived junior officers had to read the book, too.

    1. As a side note, the manpack CREW devices he mentioned are no joke. The variant we used in Iraq was three 25 lb rucks for a trio of guys to tote.
