  1. I’ve gotten rid of Adobe 8 on my primary PC (Laptop w/Win7) after accepting the fact that it just doesn’t work with Win7. Adobe support & customer service had a “give-a-shit” attitude about my problems, and told me that if I would just buy another Adobe (either 9 or X), my life would be happy again.

Adobe Acrobat ain’t cheap, though Adobe could care less as it wasn’t their problem, it was Microsofts. Well, they’ve lost a customer as I changed to a competing product.

    1. I just use the free stuff, but it still annoys the crap out of me that it wants to download massive bunches of crap every other day. They push more crap on me than MS does. And it crashes all the time anyway.

  2. I haven’t had any trouble with Adobe Reader. When I get the “I want to update” dialog, I just kill it and go on.
