I saw that at the Onion. Laughed my butt off – I have never been able to figure out how a 5 ton truck parked 3 blocks away in a motor pool can be three hours late in picking up a platoon of Marines, not just once but every single time, yet Wal-Mart can move product all over the world and know where it is and when it will be delivered to the instant.
Jenn, I don’t know either. We had the same problem in the Army quite often. And in all my experience, the services were the most efficient parts of government.
